Sportsmanship requirements

I agree to respect all persons participating at OMGS, I understand that my behavior and the behavior of my guests and players is expected to be in line with the sportsmanship policies of OMGS.

  • I understand that OMGS has a zero tolerance for any person yelling, threatening, using foul language, goading, or any other form of verbal abuse to any person on or off the fields.
  • I understand that the only person allowed to argue a call made by an umpire is the coach that met at the plate meeting before the game.
  • I understand that all coaches and team helpers must remain on the fence or in the dugout while team is in the field and only the third base coach, first base coach and pitcher (8U only) may be on field while team is batting.
  • I understand that any issues with sportsmanship will be an automatic disqualification from All-Stars for your player.
  • I understand that any person that is ejected from a game will be suspended from the next two games and the head coach will also be ejected.
  • I understand that the head coach is the one who makes all decisions where my player will play in the field and bat in the lineup.

How OMGS applies these rules:

  • Penalties for ejections and suspensions are applied based on the infraction.
  • All-Star eligibility after a sportsmanship issue is decided based on the infraction.
